With the approval of the Branch Office Definition, the NASD has established a Branch Office System Processing Fee. The fee is $20 upon registration of a branch office and $20 annually thereafter per registered branch. The NASD is waiving both the $75 registration fee and the $20 processing fee for one branch office per NASD member per year. The branch office processing fee will be assessed by invoice during the third quarter of 2006 for all branch offices in existence as of July 3, 2006. Firms that register a branch office on or after July 3 will be pay the $20 fee via CRD. Going forward, the annual $20 fee will be assessed as part of the CRD renewal program. |

Rule 3210 applies to those equity securities not otherwise covered under regulation SHO and requires participants in clearing agencies to take action on failures to deliver that exist for 13 consecutive settlement days. |

In light of recent changes to laws, rules and regulations, the NASD has revised the material covered on the following examinations to better reflect current standards. Series 22, 27, 28, 39 and 55 examinations have been revised and will appear in exams administered beginning on August 15, 2006. |
